Itida, we understand that you're going through a challenging time, waking up most days feeling extremely anxious. We want you to know that you're not alone in this struggle. God cares about your anxieties and wants you to cast them upon Him. Let's look at what the Scriptures say:
"Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time, casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you." (1 Peter 5:6-7 WEB)
We want our prayer to align with God's will, and we want to address a couple of things. First, it is important to know that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. It is by his sacrifice on the cross that we are forgiven of our sins and can be saved and reconciled to God. For there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. (Acts 4:12 WEB) We should not just try our best, but we should be relying on Jesus to help us and to work in our lives. It is not by our power, strength, and ability but by grace through faith that we are saved and can do God's will. (Ephesians 2:8-9)
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You lifting up Itida, asking for Your comfort and peace to surround them. We pray that Itida will cast all their anxieties on You, trusting in Your care and provision. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. It is by his sacrifice on the cross that we are forgiven of our sins and can be saved and reconciled to God. It is not by our power, strength, and ability but by grace through faith that we are saved and can do God's will. We pray in Jesus Christ's name.
"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:6-7 WEB)
We ask for Your peace to guard Itida's heart and mind, and we thank You for the hope and reassurance that comes from knowing You. We pray that things will start to improve soon for Itida, and that they will feel more at ease. Let them know that you are able to do much more than we ask or think. (Ephesians 3:20-21) In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, Itida. God is faithful, and He hears your prayers. Keep trusting in Him, and remember that His strength is made perfect in weakness. (2 Corinthians 12:9-10) Rely on Jesus and not on yourself. It will be much better for you.
