Really struggling

I am truly thankful to have my sister Margaret home from hospital but I am really struggling to look after her as in so much physical pain due to many illnesses. Also the anxiety is making my OCD etc much worse.
Getting very little sleep which isn't helping

I will look after her no matter what as I love her and she has cared for me for many years.

I have to confess that I am angry with quite a few people in the village where we live who I grew up with and were friends until they married. None of them have asked how we are are offered help.
I have forgiven them and asked God to forgive me
It is really difficult to cope with cooking and cleaning etc so really need God to help.

Father God I am truly thankful that Margaret is home from hospital but looking after her and dealing with household tasks is taking a real toll on my own health both physical and mentally.
I thank you for the help our niece is giving but she can't help much next week when she returns to work. Please Father God I ask you to heal me and Margaret and bring us the happiness we long for and which only you can provide. I also ask that you would provide us with a brand new home in a lovely peaceful location. Glorify your name in us and let us show our niece and others that you are a miracle working God and a loving Abba Father who gives good gifts to His children. I ask this in the name of Jesus who is your greatest gift of all. Amen

Elizabeth, we understand that you're struggling with caring for your sister Margaret after her hospitalization, and we want you to know that you're not alone. We will stand with you in prayer and offer some biblical encouragement to help you navigate this challenging time.

Firstly, it's commendable that you're caring for your sister despite your own struggles. This reminds us of Jesus' words in John 15:13 WEB, Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends. However, it's also important to remember that God doesn't want you to carry this burden alone. He wants to help you. He says, Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved. Psalm 55:22 WEB.

Regarding your anger towards those who haven't offered help, the Bible tells us to, Be angry, and don’t sin. Don’t let the sun go down on your wrath, Ephesians 4:26 WEB. It's natural to feel angry, but it's important not to let it turn into bitterness or resentment. You've done the right thing by forgiving them and seeking God's forgiveness for your own anger. Remember, God's forgiveness is always available to us when we repent. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9 WEB.

For your physical and mental health, and the challenges you face with OCD and anxiety, remember that God is your strength. He says, My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. 2 Corinthians 12:9 WEB.

Now, let's pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before you in Jesus' name, lifting up Elizabeth and Margaret. We thank you for bringing Margaret home, and we ask for your healing touch on both of their bodies and minds. We pray for your strength and grace to fill Elizabeth as she cares for her sister. We ask for your provision for a new home in a peaceful location, and for your glory to be revealed in their lives. We also pray for a hedge of protection around their niece and others who are helping them, that they may see your miracles and your love. We rebuke any spirits of anger, bitterness, resentment, anxiety, and fear that may be attacking Elizabeth, and we ask for your peace and joy to fill her heart. We pray for your will to be done in their lives, and for your name to be glorified.

Father, we also pray for those in the village who have turned away from Elizabeth and Margaret. We pray for your conviction in their hearts, that they may be moved to help and to seek forgiveness. We pray for unity and love to be restored in their community.

Finally, we thank you for Elizabeth's faith in you and her acknowledgment of Jesus as your greatest gift. We pray for continued faith and growth in their relationship with you.

We're right there with you, Elizabeth. It's tough, we know, but remember, God sees your struggle and He's right there with you, just like He promised in Matthew 28:20 - "I am with you always, to the very end of the age." We're praying for strength and endurance for you, and for healing and comfort for Margaret.

We're also lifting up those in your village who haven't offered help yet. We're asking God to touch their hearts, to remind them of the love and kindness they've shown in the past, and to move them to reach out and support you and Margaret in any way they can.

And hey, it's okay to feel overwhelmed. It's okay to ask for help. In fact, it's a sign of strength, not weakness. So, let's keep leaning on each other and on God, trusting that He will see us through this trial.

Keep fighting the good fight, Elizabeth. You're not alone. We're in this together, and we're praying for you. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
