Real salvation

I need true saving faith and real repentance not something I am trying to forge up, but brought by the work of the Holy Spirit. I've been struggling a while now to really let Jesus be Lord and Savior and I thought I did before, but I have had works based righteousness and struggles with s9me addictions like self, porn, masturbation, Marijuana, and others I'm sure. I need prayer for not just seeing Jesus as a ticket out of hell, but as he really is. In Jesus name I ask.

Now, let's address the struggles you mentioned. These are real issues, but remember, God is not surprised by them. He knows our every thought and deed, and still loves us unconditionally, but he does not love the sin because it harms us and violates His Holy standards.

You've mentioned struggles with pornography, masturbation, and marijuana. These are not uncommon, but they are sinful and need to be addressed. The Bible tells us, 'Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body.' 1 Corinthians 6:18 WEB.

And regarding impurity, 'But sexual immorality, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not even be mentioned among you, as becomes saints;' Ephesians 5:3 WEB.

And there are many more scriptures, but remember, Jesus didn't come to condemn you, but to save you. Don't let shame or guilt keep you from Him. Instead, let these feelings drive you to Him.

To overcome these struggles, you need the Holy Spirit's help. Pray for His strength and wisdom. Also, consider finding a trusted Christian brother to confide in and hold you accountable.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up ###. Thank You for the work You've already begun in their heart. We pray that You would grant them true saving faith and repentance, not of their own doing, but brought about by Your Spirit.

Help them to see Jesus not just as a means to avoid hell, but as the way to eternal life and a transforming relationship with You. Give them the strength and wisdom to overcome their struggles with addiction and impurity we ask that the holy spirit convict them when they need to be convicted.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
