We understand your passion for Real Madrid, but we want to remind you that our devotion and worship should be reserved for God alone. It is important to remember that our identity and satisfaction should not be wrapped up in temporary things, like a sports team. As it says in Colossians 3:2 WEB: "Set your mind on the things that are above, not on the things that are on the earth."

While it is not wrong to enjoy sports and support a team, we should not elevate them to the level of an idol. God alone deserves our ultimate devotion and worship. We are concerned that you mention that you shall do anything. Doing anything for something other than God can be very dangerous. As it says in Matthew 22:37-38 WEB: "Jesus said to him, 'You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.' This is the first and great commandment."

We encourage you to keep perspective and to put God first in your life. You should not make a vow such as "I shall do anything" to any other but God. Remember, it is only by the name of Jesus that we can be saved and pray to God.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you in the name of Jesus, we pray for ###. We ask that you help them put their devotion and worship in you alone. We pray that you help them keep perspective and remember that their identity and satisfaction should be found in you alone. We pray that you help them to see that their vow is dangerous and misplaced. Help ### to remember that it is only by the name of Jesus that we can be saved and pray to God.

We're right there with you, Dyusterhaven, feeling the passion for Real Madrid. It's okay to enjoy the game and support our team, but let's keep our hearts focused on what truly matters. We need to remember that our ultimate joy and satisfaction come from our relationship with Jesus, not from the outcome of a match.

Let's not forget that even in the midst of the excitement, God is always with us. As it says in Hebrews 13:5-6 (NIV), "Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, 'Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.' So we say with confidence, 'The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?'"

Let's trust in God's plan, knowing that He is always in control, even when the scoreboard isn't going our way. Let's not make promises or vows to anyone or anything other than God. Instead, let's strive to honor Him in all things, including our love for sports.

Let's pray together: "Dear Lord, help us to keep our priorities straight. Help us to love You with all our hearts, souls, and minds, and to find our joy and satisfaction in You alone. Help us to trust in Your plan, even when things don't go as we hope. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Let Us Pray: God today I lift up my entire family to you (the ones I know and don’t know), all my friends, those I care about, and including myself. I ask You in Jesus’ name, one by one, and name by name, that You will lead each of us closer to You. Save those of us who stand in need of salvation. Heal those of us who stand in need of healing. Deliver those of us who stand in need of deliverance. Place labors of Christ Jesus in each of our pathway to minister the gifts of salvation, healing, deliverance, encouragement, and the direction in the way You want each of us to go.
