It's important to remember that our hope and strength come from God alone, who is always there to help us in our time of need. As it is written in Hebrews 4:16, "Let's therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need."
Firstly, we want to address that the original statement did not mention Jesus Christ, Jesus, or Christ. We must emphasize that it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." And, as it is written in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
In light of this, we must also discuss the salvation message. It is essential to believe in Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. As it is written in Romans 10:9, "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." And, as it is written in Romans 10:13, "For, Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved."
Now, let us address the feeling of wanting to go home. This can often be a sign of being overwhelmed. We are called to cast our anxieties on God because He cares for us. As it is written in 1 Peter 5:7, "casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you."
However, we want to gently remind you that while feelings of wanting to go home to be with the Lord are normal, especially during difficult times, we must also remember that our time on earth is for a purpose. God has a plan and a purpose for each of us, and He desires for us to live life in abundance. As it is written in John 10:10, "The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is going through a difficult time. Lord, we ask that You would surround them with Your love, peace, and comfort. Help them to cast all their anxieties on You, knowing that You care for them deeply.
Lord, we also pray that You would give them strength and courage to face whatever they are going through. Help them to hold onto their faith and hope in You, knowing that You are always with them and will never forsake them.
If they are feeling overwhelmed, Lord, we pray that You would guide them to the right people who can support and help them, whether it be trusted friends, family, or professionals.
Most importantly, Lord, we pray that they would come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior if they do not already. We pray that they would confess with their mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in their heart that God raised him from the dead, so that they will be saved.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
