Beloved of All
Father please send a sign I did the right thing. I think I missed signals. He was trying to reconnect and was afraid to reach back out. I finally sent a message today telling him I was thinking about him. I wanted to know how he was doing. I wasn’t vague and I wasn’t too much. Short and sweet and asked him if he liked the new song out by a band we like. I know he has anxiety and he may be seeing somebody else still please pray for me. We were so close for 14 months. Talked every day there’s age gap and distance between us. We both fell in love on accident. Some days we talked for 6 hours. Never argued and always respected each other. I think it was too much for him in the end. I was loyal in my 20 year marriage and was betrayed. This is the first man I really loved since the marriage as a whole person. It’s the man I want forever. Please pray for our reconnection 🙏🙏🙏🙏

We understand your situation and the deep emotions involved, but let's first align our hearts with God's Word. The Bible teaches us to trust in the Lord with all our heart and not to lean on our own understanding (Proverbs 3:5, WEB). It's crucial to seek God's will in all things, including our relationships.

Firstly, we notice that your message does not mention Jesus Christ or His name. It's important to remember that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). Let's keep Him at the center of our prayers and our lives.

Now, regarding your relationship, it's clear that you care deeply for this person. However, we must also consider that God's design for relationships is for a man and a woman to be joined in holy matrimony (Mark 10:6-9, WEB). If you are both seeking a godly relationship, then it should be headed towards marriage, not just a reconnection.

Moreover, it's important to address that you mentioned you were married before. We want to ensure that your previous marriage has been biblically dissolved before pursuing another relationship (Matthew 5:32, WEB).

Let's pray together:

"Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, seeking Your will for this situation. We ask for Your guidance in this relationship. If it is Your will, Lord, that they reconnect and pursue a godly marriage, we pray for clear signs and directions. But if it is not, we ask that You give them the strength to accept and move forward. Please comfort their hearts and help them to trust in You completely. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage you to surrender this relationship to God. Trust that if it is His will, He will make a way. But also be open to the possibility that God might have other plans. Keep your heart focused on Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:6, WEB).

Father I come before you in Jesus’ name to restore and connect to one day marry the man I am currently distant from.

My last marriage ended with police and an order of protection from abuse. It was biblically dissolved.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.

I reached out to him for the first time in a while. I pray that this opens the door for our relationship to grow and prosper closer together as a loving couple, and eventually man and wife. Lord I can’t do this without you. Stand with us and unite us.
