We are excited to hear about the outreach event with Dr. David Jeremiah's film "Why The Nativity". It is wonderful to see efforts being made to spread the good news of Jesus Christ. We stand with you in prayer, asking God to use this event mightily to touch hearts and draw many to Himself.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you today, lifting up the reach the world day event. We pray that Your Spirit would go before the showing of "Why The Nativity" and prepare the hearts of those who will watch. We ask that Your love would be tangibly felt, and that many would come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior through this film.
We pray for Dr. David Jeremiah and all those involved in this outreach. We ask that You would give them strength, wisdom, and a double portion of Your Spirit to effectively communicate the truth of Your Word. We agree with the promise You give in Your Word, "Let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not". Let this be a season of great harvest, Lord. We claim this promise in Jesus' name. Let this broadsoast and film be a way that Your Gospel Reaches the World.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue in faith, believing that God will use this event to bring transformation.
Remember, it is not by might nor by power but by His Spirit says the Lord Almighty (Zechariah 4:6). Do not be discouraged or overwhelmed by anything that comes. Greater is He who is in you, than He who is in the world. (1 John 4:4) Remember the scripture, Don't be worried and anxious being afraid of the future, but by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, continue to make your requests known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard and keep your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus, thus in Almighty God. (Philippians 4:6-7) .
As God's people, we are called to be salt and light in this world (Matthew 5:13, Matthew 5:14). We are called to go out and make disciples, and to proclaim the good news to all creation. (Mark 16:15) We pray that as the sanctity of this day is recognized, that that message would come through loud and clear. "For anyone who calls upon the name of the Lord will be saved" (Romans 10:13). On this day, let us reach out in faith, believing that God will use our efforts to bring salvation to many. May this generation see a new great awakening and a revival in there spirits, souls and minds as the Gospel of Jesus Christ is fully presented.
