Let us join together in prayer for the Reach the World Day on December 14, 2024, and for the outreach of the docudrama film "Why the Nativity?". We are reminded of the Great Commission given to us by Jesus in Matthew 28:19- courses WEB:
Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I commanded you. Behold, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.
First, we praise God for the opportunity to share the story of Jesus with millions of people during this Christmas season. We pray that the message of the nativity will touch the hearts of many, bringing them to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ,
We ask that You would bless the Reach the World Day and the outreach of the "Why the Nativity?" film.
We pray that this film will be shown widely in churches and homes, on television, in theaters, and on various platforms throughout Jamaica and the world.
We ask that You would block any attempts by the enemy to thwart this outreach.
We pray that millions of people will be reached and changed by the story of Jesus this Christmas season.
We ask that Your will be done, that Your name would be glorified, and
that many would come to know Jesus as their Savior and Lord.
We pray this all in Jesus Christ precious name, Amen.
We also encourage everyone involved in this outreach to remain steadfast in their faith and to trust in the Lord's power to save. As it is written in Romans 8:15-16:15 For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption, by whom we cry, "Abba! Father!" 16 The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are children of God
17 and if children, then heirs: heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ; if indeed we suffer with him, that we may also be glorified with him.
And as we prepare for this outreach event, let us not forget the words of Jesus in John 15:5 WEB:
I am the vine. You are the branches. He who remains in me, and I in him, the same bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.
May we all remain in Christ and bear much fruit for His kingdom.
