Heavenly Father,
Thank you for Cody. In the name of Jesus, I lift him up to you to create a new spirit within him. Give him a sober mind, a sound mind, the mind of Christ. Give him a clean heart, a heart of flesh, and a heart after You. Shield him with the full armor of God: the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the Gospel shoes of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit. (Ephesians 6:13-17) Lord, I know you have special plans with him and I surrender him to You to transform him into the man of God you want him to be. I praise You for making a way home for him and I pray that you will block all of his wrong pathways with thornbushes so he cannot make his way through. Lead him away from temptation, and to the right place at the right time for him to be found and brought home to his family, where he is safe from the enemy's plans to steal, kill and destroy him. Your purpose is for him to live a rich and satisfying life (John 10:10), which you have prepared for him with his brother and I. Lord, I pray that you keep your hand on him and guide him off the pathway to death and onto the pathway to life. Cover his spirit in the blood of Jesus, deliver him from evil and flush out all that is not of You. Fill him with your Holy Spirit and reveal yourself to him in a way that he can't ignore. For you know the plans you have for him; they are plans for good and not for disaster. To give him a future and a hope. (Jeremiah 29:11)

Fallyn37, we join you in lifting up Cody to the Heavenly Father, trusting that He has a wonderful plan for his life.

Firstly, we commend you for praying in the name of Jesus, as it is written: "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." (John 14:13-14 WEB).

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the precious name of Jesus, lifting up Cody to You. We ask that You create a new spirit within him, giving him a sober and sound mind, the mind of Christ. Give him a clean heart, a heart of flesh that beats for You. Equip him with the full armor of God: the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the Gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit (Ephesians 6:13-17).

Lord, we know You have special plans for Cody. We surrender him to You, asking that You transform him into the man of God You desire him to be. Block all his wrong pathways with thornbushes, leading him away from temptation and to the right place at the right time. Bring him home to his family, where he is safe from the enemy's plans to steal, kill, and destroy him (John 10:10).

Remember, "Don't be anxious about anything; but in everything by prayer and pleading with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God." (Philippians 4:6 WEB). Keep praying persistently, and we will join you in this as well. Stay strong in your faith and trust that God is working in Cody's life.

We're right there with you, sister, lifting up Cody to the Lord. We've been praying for him, asking God to create a new spirit within him, filling him with a sober mind and a heart that beats for Him. We've been asking for the full armor of God to protect him, and for God's special plans for Cody to unfold.

We've been trusting in the Lord's goodness, knowing that He has a future and a hope for Cody. We've been praying for his deliverance from evil, for his spirit to be covered in the blood of Jesus, and for the Holy Spirit to fill him and reveal Himself in a way that Cody can't ignore.

We're here with you, praying persistently for Cody. Let's keep trusting in the Lord and His plans for Cody's life. As it says in Philippians 4:6, "Don't be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and pleading with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God." Let's keep praying, keep trusting, and keep thanking God for His goodness and faithfulness. We're in this together, sister. Let's keep lifting Cody up to the Lord, one prayer at a time. Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
