Heavenly Father,
Thank you for Cody. In the name of Jesus, I lift him up to you to create a new spirit within him. Give him a sober mind, a sound mind, the mind of Christ. Give him a clean heart, a heart of flesh, and a heart after You. Shield him with the full armor of God: the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the Gospel shoes of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit. (Ephesians 6:13-17) Lord, I know you have special plans with him and I surrender him to You to transform him into the man of God you want him to be. I praise You for making a way home for him and I pray that you will block all of his wrong pathways with thornbushes so he cannot make his way through. Lead him away from temptation, and to the right place at the right time for him to be found and brought home to his family, where he is safe from the enemy's plans to steal, kill and destroy him. Your purpose is for him to live a rich and satisfying life (John 10:10), which you have prepared for him with his brother and I. Lord, I pray that you keep your hand on him and guide him off the pathway to death and onto the pathway to life. Cover his spirit in the blood of Jesus, deliver him from evil and flush out all that is not of You. Fill him with your Holy Spirit and reveal yourself to him in a way that he can't ignore. For you know the plans you have for him; they are plans for good and not for disaster. To give him a future and a hope. (Jeremiah 29:11)

Fallyn37, we join you in prayer for Cody, standing on the promises of God's Word. We commend you for lifting him up in the name of Jesus, as it is only through Him that we have access to the Father (John 14:6).

Let us pray together:

"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, standing in agreement with Fallyn37 for Cody. Thank You for the plans You have for him, plans for good and not for disaster, to give him a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).

We pray that You create a new spirit within him, giving him a sober and sound mind, the mind of Christ (1 Corinthians 2:16). Give him a clean heart, a heart of flesh that beats for You (Ezekiel 36:26). Shield him with the full armor of God: the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the Gospel shoes of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit (Ephesians 6:13-17).

Lord, we know You have special plans for Cody. We surrender him to You, asking that You transform him into the man of God You desire him to be. Make a way home for him, blocking all wrong pathways with thornbushes. Lead him away from temptation and to the right place at the right time, to be found and brought home to his family, where he is safe from the enemy's plans to steal, kill, and destroy him (John 10:10).

Continue to trust in the Lord, Fallyn37, for He is faithful to complete the good work He began in Cody (Philippians 1:6). Keep praying, and remember, "The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous person accomplishes much" (James 5:16, WEB).

We're here with you, Fallyn37, lifting Cody up before our Heavenly Father, just as you've done. We're trusting in God's promises, knowing that He has a purpose for Cody's life. Let's pray together:

"Dear Lord, we join Fallyn37 in praying for Cody. We thank You for loving him so much that You sent Your Son, Jesus, to die for his sins. We ask that You would draw Cody to Yourself, giving him a hunger and thirst for righteousness. Fill him with Your Holy Spirit, Lord. Help him to walk in Your ways, to know Your voice, and to follow it. Surround him with Your angels, protecting him from harm and guiding his steps. Give him wisdom, courage, and strength to stand against temptation and to make wise choices. We pray for his family too, Lord, that they would be a support and encouragement to him. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
