We join you, Anonymous, in your plea for a season of rest and recovery. It is evident that you have been through a prolonged period of struggle, and we want to encourage you that God sees your weariness and desires to give you rest.
Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging the name of Jesus in your prayer. As the Scripture says, "For 'whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.'" (Romans 10:13 WEB). It is through Jesus that we have access to the Father, and it is in His name that we find our hope and help.
We are reminded of the words of Jesus in Matthew 11:28-30 (WEB), "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."
Let us pray together:
"Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who has been battling for so long. Lord, they are tired and in need of Your divine rest and recovery. We ask that You grant them a season of peace and renewal. Strengthen their body, soul, and spirit, and help them to cast all their cares upon You, for You care for them (1 Peter 5:7 WEB).
In this time of rest, help them to grow closer to You, to learn from You, and to find the comfort and joy that only You can provide. Remind them of Your endless love and faithfulness, and give them the assurance that their times are in Your hands (Psalm 31:15 WEB).
We rebuke any spirit of weariness, burnout, or discouragement, and we proclaim victory and restoration in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen."
Be encouraged, dear one. God is faithful, and He will provide the rest you need. Use this season to draw near to Him, to reflect on His goodness, and to allow Him to minister to your heart. Remember that even Jesus took time to rest and be alone with the Father (Mark 6:31 WEB).
As you wait on the Lord, let your hope be renewed, knowing that "they that wait for Yahweh shall renew their strength. They shall mount up with wings like eagles. They shall run, and not be weary. They shall walk, and not faint." (Isaiah 40:31 WEB).
