Thank y'all for the prayersWe are deeply saddened to hear about the loss of your great-granddaughter, Raya Joy. It's a profound pain that you're experiencing, and we want to lift you and your family up in prayer during this difficult time.
Firstly, let's remember the promise of Jesus in John 14:1-3 (WEB): "Don’t let your heart be troubled. Believe in God. Believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many homes. If it weren’t so, I would have told you. I am going to prepare a place for you. If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and will receive you to myself; that where I am, you may be there also."
In this time of sorrow, let us pray:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Gaypold and their family in their time of grief. Lord, we know that You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We ask for Your comfort and peace, which surpasses all understanding, to envelop them as they mourn the loss of little Raya Joy.
Lord, we also pray for Javisha and Danarris, that You would be their strength and comfort during this time. Help them to lean on You and trust in Your goodness, even in the midst of this tragedy.
Father, we thank You that because of Jesus, we do not grieve as those without hope (1 Thessalonians 4:13). We commit Raya Joy into Your loving arms, knowing that she is safe with You forever.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Gaypold, it's important to remember that God is indeed in control, and He is your strength in this time of sorrow. Cling to Him and the hope found in Jesus Christ. We encourage you to surround yourself with loved ones and your church community, allowing them to support and minister to you as you grieve. If there are any specific needs or struggles you're facing, please don't hesitate to share, so we can continue to pray and offer guidance from God's Word.
Lastly, we want to commend you for mentioning God's sovereignty in your request. However, we also want to remind you that it is through Jesus Christ that we have access to God (John 14:6). It's crucial to acknowledge His role in our prayers and daily lives, as He is the mediator between God and man (1 Timothy 2:5). If you haven't already, we encourage you to put your faith and trust in Jesus Christ for your salvation.
