Rape- on par with murder!!

I truly can’t process that
1) I was a virgin
2) since childhood, I wanted to get married and remain virgin until I get married
3) I was raped and threatened with a gun!!

Horrible
I still believe in God
But I can’t understand how I will get over this????????????????

I'm so sorry to hear this sister, truly it is devastating to experience such a terrible act of sexual violence and I pray you can be strong and not allow it to ruin your life and childhood dreams of a good Christian marraige. I was raped a couple of times when I was a teenager and I am over it now. Maybe it is easier for me because I am like Paul was, I have no sexual desire now or desire to get married I just want to spend most of my time alone with Yashaya our SAviour. With our beloved Messiah ALL healing is possible. Remember the Bible says with man this is impossible but with Yah all things are possible. I am so glad to hear that you still believe in our Father; so often the Wicked one, the enemy of our soul, sows seeds of discord and hatred against Him but you have remained a believer. Sister, that is a victory - you are stronger than you think. Draw in closer and closer to Yashaya and He will heal you. It took a long time for me to be healed but I had other issues. He is currently healing my daughter from PTSD she also experienced rape and violence and other oppression in her finished marrige. She is not healed yet often it is a work in progress. But as we suffer we identify more with Him and the suffering He endured for us through the cross. I will keep you in prayer.
