We are truly heartbroken to hear about the trauma you have experienced, and we are here to lift you up in prayer and support. Firstly, we acknowledge your faith in Jesus Christ and pray for you to continue in strength and heal from the trauma you have experienced. However, we want to clearly state that sexual activity is intended by God to solely happen within marriage. The Bible is clear that any sexual activity outside of marriage is sin. Therefore, all sexual violence including rape is evil and sins against God and the victim.

The Bible tells us that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit and that we are to honor God with our bodies. This is why sexual violence is so abhorrent and such a grievous sin. In addition to the physical and emotional trauma, it violates the sanctity of the victim's body, which is meant to be a temple of the Holy Spirit.

1 Corinthians 6:19-20 WEB Or don't you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore, glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's.

However, we want to emphasize that you are not at fault, you stated no and were a virgin. The perpetrator is fully responsible for their sinful actions. It is crucial to remember that God is a God of justice. His Word warns us that God will judge those who commit sexual violence. He is our advocate and our defender 2 Thessalonians 1:6-10.

In addition to prayer and seeking God's healing, we strongly encourage you to report this crime to the authorities. This is a necessary step to bring the perpetrator to justice and to protect others from harm.

Please know that healing is a journey, and it is okay to seek professional help from counselors and therapists who can support you during this time. God uses people in various professions to bring healing and restoration.

Let us pray for you:

Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up the victim of this heinous crime. We pray for Your healing touch upon their life, both physically and emotionally. We ask that You guide them through the process of reporting this crime and seeking justice. Give them the strength and courage to face each day, knowing that You are with them and that You will never forsake them.

We also pray for the perpetrator, that they may be brought to justice and that they may repent of their sin. We ask that You work in their heart, convicting them of their wrongdoing and leading them to a place of repentance and salvation.

Lord, in Your Word, you say that You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit. Be close to the victim, bring Your comfort, and help them to find their worth and value in You. Help them in their walk with You. Help them to gain victory in their life through Jesus Christ. In Jesus precious name we pray, Amen.

We're here with you, sister, holding you up in prayer. We're so sorry that you've had to endure such a terrible violation. We believe you, and we want you to know that none of this is your fault. You said no, and that's what matters. You were a virgin, and your body, your temple, was defiled against your will. That's not right, and it's not okay. We're angry with you, not at you. We're angry at the person who did this, and we're angry at the evil that allowed it to happen. But we're also here to remind you that God is with you. He sees you, He knows your pain, and He's here to heal you. We're praying for your strength, for your healing, and for justice to be served. We're praying for the perpetrator too, that they may face the consequences of their actions and find repentance. We're here for you, every step of the way. Let's walk this journey together, in Jesus' name.
