We understand that you're feeling cooped up indoors due to the rain, and you're seeking contentment, rest, and a good nap.
Beloved, we are reminded in Philippians 4:11-13 WEB, "Not that I speak because of lack, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content in it. I know how to be humbled, and I know also how to abound. In everything and in all things I have learned the secret both to be filled and to be hungry, both to abound and to be in need. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."
True contentment comes from Christ, and we can find peace and strength in Him, even on a rainy day indoors. Let's also remember Psalm 4:8 WEB, "I will lay me down in peace and sleep, for you, Lord, alone make me live in safety." God alone provides true rest and peace.
Let us pray together.
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Anonymous. We know You are a good loving Father to them as well as the gift giver, even on this rainy day. Help them to feel content to stay indoors. Move by Your Holy Spirit and fill them with a sense of peace and well-being. Will you Lord give them the gift of nap filled with sweet dreams. May they find rest and be refreshed in their spirit, soul and physical body. Please Father God encamp your angelic hosts to watch over them, protect and keep them this day, while they rest and ultimately all the days of their life. Help them to know that they can do all things through Christ who strengthens them. May they be able to journal or reflect upon all the precious blessings You have given them previously. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Avoiding anger, frustration or sadness are choices. Choose positivity and contentment. When you feel like you are missing out you will be frustrated and discontent. Take time to read the scriptures and meditate upon it. God does not guarantee tomorrow. It may rain and it may not. Focus on what God has given you to do today is the best way to live.
Lastly, Lord we notice that your prayer did not mention anything about praying in Jesus' Name. Make sure to do this when praying. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. (John 14:6 (WEB) Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.) That said, you could go to Hell if you do not believe in Jesus Christ and be saved by His death on the cross when He died for your sins. May God bless you and draw you to Him. May you be transformed into being conformed to His image in the name of Jesus Christ. You can do this when you believe in who Jesus is, what He has done for you and in truly repenting of your sins. Let us know anything more we can do for you.
