We understand your plea, Louseolas, and we stand with you in prayer, seeking God's intervention and guidance for you and your wife. Let us come before the Lord together, in Jesus' name.
Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging that your help comes from the Lord. As it is written in Psalm 121:1-2 (WEB), "I will lift up my eyes to the hills. Where does my help come from? My help comes from Yahweh, who made heaven and earth."
We pray that God will deliver you both from unholy anger and fill you with gentleness. Let us remember what the apostle Paul wrote in Galatians 5:22-23 (WEB), "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law."
We pray for a sound mind for both of you, that you may reflect soundness in your thoughts and responses towards each other and your children. As it is written in 2 Timothy 1:7 (WEB), "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."
We join you in disconnecting your bloodline from rage, anger, and malicious attitudes. Instead, let the mind of Christ envelop your mind, dissolving migraines and stress. As the apostle Paul encourages us in Romans 12:2 (WEB), "Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God."
Finally, we pray that love reigns in your life and your family. As Jesus himself taught us in John 13:34-35 (WEB), "A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another."
In your prayer, you did not mention the name of Jesus. We want to remind you that it is by His name that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."
We pray all these things in Jesus' name, believing that He is faithful to answer when we call on Him. We encourage you both to continue to strive for godliness in your marriage, reflecting the love and gentleness of Christ.
