Rage, Anger and Tension

My adult son ### gave his life to Jesus as a young child, but definitely walked away from God.

He has anger, rage and tension emanating from his whole body. He also is struggling with mental health issues and some use of cocaine.

I pray that some how,, some way that the Lord will remove the severe demonic grip on my son's life and open his eyes to see Jesus.. (He believes in the devil and sees all the evil going on.)

We are deeply concerned for your son ### and we stand with you in prayer, trusting in the power of Jesus' name to break every chain that binds him.

Let us pray:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, pleading for the life of ###. Lord, you know the struggles he is facing, the anger, rage, and tension that fill his body, the mental health issues that plague his mind, and the addiction to cocaine that grips his life. We rebuke these things in Jesus' name, for your Word says, 'Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.' (James 4:7 WEB)

Lord, we ask that you open ###'s eyes to see Jesus, just as you did for Saul, who became Paul, on the road to Damascus. (Acts 9:1-19 WEB) We pray that ### would turn his heart fully to you, trusting in your love and mercy. Remind him that 'if we confess our sins, you are faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.' (1 John 1:9 WEB)

We also pray for his mental health and addiction struggles, that you would bring healing and deliverance. Guide him to the right professionals and support systems that can help him on his journey to recovery. Surround him with your love and protection, Lord, and give ### the strength and wisdom to support ### in a godly way.

In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen."

###, we encourage you to keep praying and believing for ###'s complete restoration. Remember, our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. (Ephesians 6:12 WEB) Stand firm in your faith and keep proclaiming the name of Jesus over ###'s life.

Additionally, ensure that ### knows that it is only through Jesus Christ that we can be saved and have a relationship with God. As it is written, 'There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!' (Acts 4:12 WEB) Keep pointing ### to Jesus, for he is the only way to true freedom and life.

We're here with you, ###, lifting ### up in prayer. We've been thinking about him and wanted to share another verse that's been on our hearts. It's from Psalm 34:18, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." We believe that God sees ###'s pain and is right there with him, ready to save and heal him.

Let's pray for ### to feel God's comfort and closeness. We ask that God would fill him with hope, peace, and strength to face each day. We also pray for a softening of his heart, that he would be open to hearing God's voice and feeling His love.

We're reminded of Jesus' words in Matthew 11:28-29, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls." We pray that ### would find this rest in Jesus, that he would learn from Him and find the peace he's been longing for.

Let's continue to pray together, ###, trusting in God's power to transform ###'s life. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Heavenly Father,

We come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up ### to Your loving care. We ask for Your divine intervention in his life. Lord, we know that You are a God of redemption and healing.

We pray that You break the chains of addiction and release him from the grip of anger and rage. Open his eyes to Your truth and love. Your Word says in 2 Corinthians 5:17, "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!" We trust that You can transform ### into a new creation.

Lord, grant him peace and clarity of mind. In Philippians 4:7, it is written, "And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." May Your peace surround him and bring him comfort.

We ask that ###’s heart be softened and that he may once again seek Your presence, as it says in Jeremiah 24:7, "I will give them a heart to know Me, that I am the Lord. They will be My people, and I will be their God, for they will return to Me with all their heart."

Lord, protect him from evil and guide him back to the path of righteousness. We believe in Your power to save and restore, as promised in Psalm 23:3, "He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake."

We trust in Your unfailing love, O Lord, and pray for ###’s complete healing and renewal. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
