Cassie12, we stand with you in praying against racism, a sin that grieves God's heart and divides His children. We are all created equal in His image, as it is written in Genesis 1:27, "God created man in his own image. In Godโs image he created him; male and female he created them." Racism is a denial of this fundamental truth.
We rebuke any racist thoughts, words, or actions within our community group and pray for repentance and transformation. As it is written in 2 Corinthians 5:17, "If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new." We pray that any vestige of the old, sinful nature be replaced with the love and unity of Christ.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we come before You to stand against the sin of racism in our community group. Lord, you have created each of us in Your image, and You desire for us to live in unity and love. Root out any racism that exists among us, Lord. Change hearts, transform minds, and help us to see each other as You see us. Give us the courage to stand against injustice and the love to embrace one another as brothers and sisters in Christ. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you, Cassie12, to continue to stand against racism, armed with the love and truth of God's Word. Remember the words of Jesus in John 13:34-35, "A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another."
