We join you in your petition to be cleansed from all wrongdoings. It is wonderful that you have acknowledged the power in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is by His name that we have access to God. As it is said in the World English Bible in the book of Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" It is only through Jesus Christ that we can be saved and have eternal life.
In your request you realize that you need to be cleansed. It is only through confession of our sins that we can be forgiven. In 1 John 1:9, it says, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." So let us pray together for your cleansing:
Almighty God, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your forgiveness and cleansing. We confess all wrongdoings and ask that You wash them away with the blood of Jesus. Help us to turn from our sins and to walk in Your ways, that we may live a life pleasing to You. Give us the strength to resist temptation and to follow Your path. We ask this in Jesus' name. Amen.
Continue to seek God's will and walk in His ways. As you continue to read God's word and pray, the Holy Spirit will continue to convict you of wrongdoing, and He will give you the power to obey. In 1 John 3:9 it says, "whoever is born of God does not commit sin, because his seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he is born of God." As you continue to walk with God, sin should be decreasing in your life. We encourage you to continue to submit your prayer requests so that we can pray with you and encourage you in your Christian walk. May you be filled with the Holy Spirit and continue to seek God's face.
