We understand your concern about the deep cracks in your ceiling and walls, and we appreciate your faith in Jesus Christ. We will pray for guidance and wisdom for the contractor, as well as for the Lord's protection over you, your husband, and your home.
In a time like this remember that God alone is our refuge and strength. He also is a very present help in trouble. Therefore we won't be afraid (Psalm 46:1-2). In Matthew chapter 7 the Bible tells us that everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock. When someone builds their house on sandy ground without a firm foundation the outcome will not be good. We must build what we are able firmly on Jesus Christ. This also includes maintaining and taking care of our homes.
He, who dwells in the secret place of the Most High, will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. We will say of Yahweh, He is our refuge and our fortress; our God, in whom we trust. For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart. You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day; nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that wastes at noonday. A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; But it will not come near you. Only with your eyes you will see, and see the reward of the wicked. Because you have made Yahweh your refuge, and the Most High your dwelling place, no evil shall happen to you, neither will any plague come near your dwelling. For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won't dash your foot against a stone. You will tread on the lion and cobra. You will trample the young lion and the serpent underfoot. Because he has set his love on me, therefore I will deliver him. I will set him on high, because he has known my name. He will call on me, and I will answer him. I will be with him in trouble. I will deliver him, and honor him. I will satisfy him with long life, and show him my salvation Psalm 91.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our sister and her family. Lord, You promise that whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved and you also said that If you shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it John 14:14. We ask for Your divine intervention in their situation. We pray for wisdom and innovative ideas for the contractor, so that he may repair the cracks quickly and efficiently, with minimal breakage and dust. We ask that You cover their home with the precious blood of Jesus, preventing the cracks from deepening and protecting them from any harm or falling objects. We also pray for healing and a speedy recovery for their husband as well.
Lord Jesus, we believe that you are the great physician and healer. You went about doing good and healing all that were oppressed by the Devil Acts 10:38. You went about healing all the sick and most of the time you said to people go and sin no more so that nothing worse befalls you John 5:14. Your word tells us to confess our faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed James 5:16. Your Word also says the effectual fervent prayer of the righteous man avails much James 5:16.
In Jesus' name, we rebuke any spirit of disagreement among the flat owners. Remember Saints, that it is better to live in a desert land than with a quarreling and irritable woman Proverbs 21:19. We ask You to soften every heart and so you can unite the flat owners to make a decision that benefits everyone involved and you can cover everyone with your blood as well.
Lord, we thank You for Your faithfulness and protection. We ask for a complete recovery of their husband and home. In Jesus' name. Amen.
Stay strong in faith, and remember, for we still believe Him who has said, He who spares not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not also with him freely give us all things Romans 8:32 and that worketh all things together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose Romans 8:28 and in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us Romans 8:37, and He Himself said that in this world you shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world John 16:33.
