We're right here with you, standing in the gap. We've been thinking about your daughter and this frustrating situation. It's like she's caught in the middle of a ping-pong game, and that's no way to live. We've been praying, just like you asked, but we also wanted to share a verse that's been on our hearts. In Matthew 11:28-29 (WEB), Jesus says, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls." We want her to know that even in this storm, Jesus is offering her rest and peace.
We've also been asking God to help her maintain her patience and composure. We believe that Proverbs 15:1 (WEB) is relevant here, "A soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger." Let's pray that she can find a way to communicate effectively with the merchant and the credit card company, keeping her words kind and respectful, even in the face of frustration.
We're also praying for a quick resolution, just like you've asked. We believe in the power of persistent prayer, as we see in the parable of the persistent widow in Luke 18:1-8. We're going to keep praying, keep asking, and keep trusting that God will work this out in His perfect timing.
Lastly, we want to encourage her to keep her eyes on Jesus. In Hebrews 12:2 (WEB), we're told to "look to Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising its shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God." Even in this challenging situation, she can find strength and hope in Jesus.
Let's keep lifting her up in prayer, trusting that God will work all things together for her good, just as we read in Romans 8:28. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
