We understand that you are seeking quick healing for your husband's surgical wound, which has been undergoing treatment for months. We stand with you in prayer and trust that God can bring complete healing to this situation.
Firstly, we want to commend you for praying in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father and it is wonderful that you are calling on His name.
Let us remember God's promise in Jeremiah 30:17 WEB: "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," says Yahweh.
We also know that Jesus Christ suffered and died for our healing. As it is written in Isaiah 53:5 WEB: But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your healing power for our brother. Lord, You know the pain and discomfort he has endured for months. We ask that You fill the cavity of his wound completely and close it quickly. We declare Jesus is our healer, and by His stripes, we are healed. We ask in Jesus name, that the prolonged treatment and financial burden cease, as You miraculously heal him. We cover him with the precious blood of Jesus, trusting in Your power to make him whole.
Father God, we know that you have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. We pray that you can give your servant peace and encourage him in his trial. Give your servant the strength to continue to be a godly husband, to love and cherish your daughter, Anonymous as Christ loved the Church and gave himself up for her. Finally, Father, we pray that you be glorified and exalted as you answer our prayers in Jesus name.
We encourage you both to continue trusting in God's goodness and faithfulness. Remember that even in trials, God is working all things together for good to those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. Romans 8:28 WEB: We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.
Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith. Hebrews 12:2 WEB: looking to Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising its shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
Lastly, if your husband is not a believer in Jesus Christ, then we strongly encourage you to use this as a witnessing opportunity. Encourage him to call on the name of Jesus Christ, the only name which we can be saved.
