We stand with you in prayer for your husband's healing and we appreciate your petition before the Lord. We are reminded of the power of Jesus' healing ministry, as He went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him, Acts 10 38.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your divine healing and mercy upon our sister's husband. Lord, You know every detail of his body, from the top of his head to the soles of his feet. We ask that You remove all swelling, bleeding, oozing, and pain that he is experiencing. We stand against any infirmity and command it to leave in Jesus' name. Your Word tells us in Isaiah 53 5 "But He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on Him, and by His wounds we are healed." We claim this promise over his life.
Father, we also ask for Your peace and comfort for their family. They have had a stressful year with multiple hospital visits. We pray that this year will be a year of restoration, health, and strength. No weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment they shall condemn, Isaiah 54 17.
We pray for their strength to be renewed. We pray for any past harm to their marriage to be healed, just as you are healing their husband. We pray against any temptations that may cross their path. We praise you for the marriage bed that will be kept pure and honorable, Hebrews 13 4.
Lord, remind them both that it is written in 1 Peter 5 7 "Casting all your cares on Him, for He cares for you." Remind them of the faithfulness of God to His children, and may their faith be strengthened during this time.
We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. For it is written in Acts 4 12 "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved." It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. For the sake of His name, give us what we ask, that the name of Jesus Christ may be glorified.
Sister, continue to trust in the Lord and stand firm in your faith. Remember the words of Psalm 34 17-18: "The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."
As you both wait for God's intervention, meditate on His Word and encourage each other with these verses:
Romans 8 28: "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
Jeremiah 30 17: "'For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds,' says Yahweh."
May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4 7.
If there is anything that you are doing that you should not be, stop. God bless you both.
