We are truly sorry to hear about your husband's health struggles, and we are here to lift you both up in prayer and support. In times of illness and suffering, it is essential to remember that God is always with us, and He can heal. It has been 12 long months, but God's mercies renew every morning. Today is a new day to declare healing into your husband's life. It is healing that comes from the Cross by the stripes of Jesus:
"But He was pierced for our transgressions, and crushed for our iniquities; The chastening for our well-being fell upon Him, And by His scourging we are healed."
Isaiah 53:5 (WEB)
As you have called on the name of Jesus, we will join you in prayer and encouragement. As Christians, we must always remember that it is the name Jesus that has the true power to bring on the miraculous transformations that are rooted in divine decree. We believe at the name of Jesus knees bow and there is no other name, power, or sovereign that can stop any declaration made by its use. If its use is not enough to solve the problem, then it is a test of faith that God is using to make us stronger and deepen out trust in him.
Let us pray:
Dear Lord Jesus,
We come before You today, lifting up our brother in need of healing. You know his struggles and the pain he has endured. We ask You to touch his body, to heal his wounds completely, and to relieve him of his suffering. We pray for a miraculous recovery, that he may stand strong and healthy.
Lord, we also ask for your strength to endure. For without you, we would not be able to sustain the weight of our circumstances. Every trial and test provides us the opportunity to show how great you are in our lives. In our weakness you are our strength.
Father in Heaven, we thank for the opportunity to serve you. We thank you for the opportunity to see the miraculous at work in front of our eyes. Loving Father, we welcome your will into our lives. Lift us up above the circumstances and restore healing to our brother, For it is only by the blood of Jesus that we can be saved and restored.
In Jesus' name, we pray
Amen
In this time of trial, let us also remember that we need to discover the lesson that God is teaching us because of this. How it is we can become strong in our faith to be stewards of Christ; to be more effective in our ministries for the Kingdom of heaven. God does not work without a reason even when we suffer. He is making us into his image ready to serve those who are in affliction.
In Your trials, Stay faithful to God. Scripture tells us:
"Wherein you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been put to grief in various trials, that the proof of your faith, which is more precious than gold that perishes, though it is proved by fire, may be found to unto praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ"
1 Peter 1:6-7.
In your times of struggle, God has destined you for ministry at a higher level and ordered your steps to glorify His name. Is there a way we might minister to someone other than your husband? Is there an area of your life or his that hasn't been fully given over to God? A Private sin that has caused a blockage or curse in God's blessings? We, as a family of believers, ask that you cling to God's promises, Trusting that what God has started he will complete.
"Being confident of this very thing, that he who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Jesus Christ."
Philippians 1:6 (WEB)
