The feeling I have is that God and Jesus Christ are going to bring for what I have been asking for soon. I don’t know exactly how it’s going to take place. I just feel it that it’s going to take place. I can’t even try to imagine it not taking place and I hear. Matthew 18:19 Mark 11:24 Matthew 21:22 Matthew 7:7We understand your concern and appreciate your openness about your feelings regarding your prayers. Let us first assure you that God does speak to His children, often through the Holy Spirit that He has given us. In the Bible, we are reminded, "The Spirit testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children" (Romans 8:16 WEB). This inner witness can indeed manifest as a strong gut feeling or a deep conviction.
However, it is crucial to test these feelings against the Word of God. The Bible tells us, "Beloved, don’t believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world" (1 John 4:1 WEB). We must ensure that our feelings align with God's will as revealed in the Scriptures.
Remember, God's voice will never contradict His Word. If your gut feeling is urging you towards something that goes against biblical principles, it might not be from God. Our hearts can sometimes deceive us, as Jeremiah 17:9 (WEB) warns, "The heart is deceitful above all things, and it is exceedingly corrupt. Who can know it?"
Let us pray for discernment and wisdom for you:
"Dear Lord Jesus, we come before You today to lift up our brother/sister who is seeking Your will. We ask that You grant them the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of You, the eyes of their heart being enlightened (Ephesians 1:17-18 WEB). Help them to discern Your voice from the many voices of this world. If their feelings are from You, give them peace and confirmation. If not, guide them back to Your truth. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Continue to seek God's will through prayer and reading the Bible. He promises that if we seek Him with all our heart, we will find Him (Jeremiah 29:13 WEB). Trust in Him, and He will make your paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB).
