Jere, we join with you in prayer, seeking God's will for your life and your walk in purity. We commend you for ending your prayer in the name of Jesus, for it is by His name that we have access to the Father and it is the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12).
Firstly, let us pray: Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your divine help in keeping Jere pure. Strengthen them according to Your Word, where You commanded us, "For this is the will of God: your sanctification, that you abstain from sexual immorality, that each one of you know how to possess himself of his own body in sanctification and honor" (1 Thessalonians 4:3-4 WEB). Help Jere to walk in obedience to Your commands, and give them the grace to overcome any temptation that comes their way. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
In pursuing purity, it is crucial to remember the words of Jesus, "But I tell you that everyone who gazes at a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart" (Matthew 5:28 WEB). This teaches us that purity begins in the heart and mind, and it is essential to guard both diligently.
Flee from sexual immorality, Jere. Remember that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, and He lives within you (1 Corinthians 6:18-19 WEB). Immorality not only affects you but also those with whom you interact. Instead, pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart (2 Timothy 2:22 WEB).
Lastly, continually fill your mind with God's Word and meditate on its truths. As Psalm 119:11 (WEB) teaches, "I have hidden your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you." By keeping God's Word in your heart and mind, you will be equipped to resist temptation and live a life pleasing to God.
Stay strong in the Lord, Jere. We are praying for you and believe that God will grant you the grace and strength to walk in purity.
