He saw Jesus leading His path in life all the time, wherever he went, whatever he did, the Lord was in His side to lead, guide and help in his own pilgrimage on earth. Starting from the City of Destruction on and on til he reached the Celestial City where he would abide forever with Jesus on his side. Love what he said.

He would valiant be against all disaster. Let him in constancy follow the Master.

Let us all follow the Lord all the way to our own Celestial City where Jesus awaits for you and for me.

For 12 years John Bunyan was in prison and he used every single day to glorify the Lord, writing and praying daily. Just as Paul the apostle, in prison, He praised and glorified the Lord in the middle of a dingy prison. In my life Lord be glorified. In my prison o Lord, be glorified. Let us all glorify the Lord wherever you are. Jesus delights in the praises of His people.

Writing wonderful things for Jesus will last forever. It is true that John Bunyan was a prolific writer and He loved Jesus so much. O the glory of Your presence. We Your temple give You reverence, so arise to Your rest and be blessed by our praise as we glory in Your embrace, as Your presence now fills this place. So true, so wonderful. The holy presence of Jesus goes with us,even in the depths of a prison, Jesus is right there for us to praise, honor and glorify His holy name. Amen

Love what John Bunyan said. Prayer will make men cease from sin, or sin will entice a man to cease from prayer. To obey is better than sacrifice...said the Lord. Pray without ceasing... John Bunyan knew this very well.

I read the book and then the Pilgrims wife went after him to the Celestial City. A wonderful reading and it really touched my heart because we are on the same road. Through trials and tribulations we eventually will end up in our glorious home, seeing Jesus face to face and telling Him how grateful we are for saving us and touching our hearts.
