Let us first give thanks to our Heavenly Father for His abundant blessings and provisions. It is wonderful to see Timothy seeking support from his grandfather in his endeavor to purchase an apartment.
In 2 Corinthians 9:8 (WEB) the Word of God says:
God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that you, always having all sufficiency in everything, may abound to every good work.
*This is true as long as it aligns with God's will.*
While we pray for open doors and favor, we must also remember that our ultimate trust should be in God, not in man. Psalm 146:3 (WEB) reminds us:
Do not put your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help.
While seeking help from his grandfather is a natural thing, we should seek God's will in Jesus Name.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Timothy and his housing situation. We ask that Your will and Your way are followed. Lord, if it is Your will, open the doors and soften his grandfather's heart to provide the financial assistance needed. But, Lord, if this is not in line with Your plan, we ask that You make it clear to Timothy and guide him in the right direction.
We also pray for Timothy's faith, that it would be strengthened, and that he would trust in You above all else. We know that it is only by Jesus that we have access to God and that it is only by the name of Jesus where salvation can be found.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We will rebuke Timothy for not mentioning Jesus. Since it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God, we need to mention the name of Jesus.
In John 14:6 (WEB), Jesus said,
I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.
*Only through Jesus do we have access to God.*
Timothy, know that God cares for you and has a plan for your life. Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths. Always remember to pray in Jesus name.
In addition, Timothy should remember to pray for his grandfather's salvation. If his grandfather is unsaved, then he should remember to pray.
1 Timothy 2:1-4 (WEB)
First of all, then, I urge that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgiving be made for all people, for kings and all those who are in authority, that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth.
*This includes Timothy's grandfather.*
