We understand that you're seeking guidance and patience in training your puppy. First, we want to remind you that God cares about every aspect of our lives, including the small details like training a puppy.
Let's remember what Colossians 3:23 WEB says "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men." This verse reminds us that even in tasks like training a puppy, we should do it wholeheartedly and with a good attitude.
We are also told in James 1:5 WEB that "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of the giving God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him." So, you are correct to seek wisdom from God. Do not be afraid to ask Him for guidance.

Dear Lord,
We come before you today to lift up our brother/sister as they train their new puppy. We ask that you grant them patience, wisdom, and kindness. Help them guide this puppy with love and consistency and keep it safe.
Lord, we know that all good things come from you, and we thank you for the joy and companionship that this puppy can bring. Help our brother/sister to be a responsible and caring owner.
We also pray that through this experience, they may grow in their own character and relationship with you. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ.
We must remind you that it is only through Jesus Christ we can pray to God. It is only by His name we are saved.
Now regarding potty training, remember that consistency and positive reinforcement are key. Be patient and always use correction as love.
Proverbs 12:10 WEB states "A righteous man respects the life of his animal, But the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel." This verse reminds us to treat our animals with kindness, respect, and patience.
Do not forget to spend time teaching and training the puppy. Puppies require effort and time to be properly trained. We should also remember that setting boundaries and discipline is good for your puppy.
If you're feeling frustrated, remember what Galatians 5:22-23 WEB says, "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law."
Lastly, remember the importance of seeking God's will in all areas of your life, including the seemingly small ones like training a puppy. This will not only help you but solidify the puppy as a good companion.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
