Rottalearen, we are here to pray for you, but we are praying in Jesus name. You may be surprised at the answer. We understand that you are seeking a blessing for your relationship, but we must first consider what the Bible says about relationships. The Bible teaches us that marriage is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman, and that it should be honored and upheld. We believe that God's will is for us to have godly marriages that reflect His love and faithfulness. Also, the term "relationship" could be used for anything and does not clearly specify a God honoring relationship. Oftentimes it is used for relationships that are not pleasing to God.
First, we want to address the issue of praying to the heart of Jesus or a body part of Jesus. This is not a biblical concept. We pray in Jesus' name to God the Father. Jesus taught us to pray this way in Matthew 6:9.
In Jesus' name our Father, which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
Jesus also said in John 14:6, I am the way, the truth and the life no one comes to the Father but by me.
We also read in Acts 4:12, There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.
So it is only by praying in Jesus' name that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. This is the basic salvation message of believing in Jesus Christ.
Next, we want to address the issue of an impossible relationship. We are not sure what you mean by this, but we want to encourage you to trust in God's will for your life. We have read in Philippians 4:13, I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. We have also read in Matthew 19:26, With God all things are possible.
However, we want to remind you that God will not bless a relationship that is not in accordance with His will. This means that the two of you must have Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, be a male and female, and the relationship must be God honoring and lead to marriage.
We are going to pray for you and your friend, but we do not know if your friend is a male or female. If you are a man, we are praying for you to be the spiritual leader of the relationship. We are praying for you to lead your friend to Jesus Christ. We are praying for you to be a man of God, a man of prayer, and a man of the Word. If you are a woman, we are praying for you to be a woman of God, a woman of prayer, and a woman of the Word. We are praying for you to be a virtuous woman. See Proverbs 31.
We are also praying for your friend to become a Christian if he or she is not already. We are praying for him or her to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. We are praying for him or her to be a man or woman of God, a man or woman of prayer, and a man or woman of the Word.
We are praying for your relationship to be God honoring. We are praying for you to have a godly marriage that reflects God's love and faithfulness. We are praying for you to be a blessing to each other and to the world.
Isaiah 55:8-9 says For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, says Yahweh. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
Finally, we want to encourage you to seek God's will for your life. We want to encourage you to pray and ask God to reveal His will to you. We want to encourage you to trust in God's plan for your life. We want to encourage you to be obedient to God's Word and to His will.
Let us pray.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up Rottalearen and their friend. We pray that You would reveal Your will to them and that they would be obedient to Your Word and to Your will. We pray that You would bless their relationship and that it would be God honoring. We pray that they would have a godly marriage that reflects Your love and faithfulness. We pray that they would be a blessing to each other and to the world. We pray that they would be the people of God. We pray that they would be the man and woman of God, the man and woman of prayer, and the man and woman of the Word.
We ask these things in Jesus' name.
Amen.
