We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles your husband is facing, sister Aeriyrath. We will stand with you in prayer and offer some biblical encouragement.
Firstly, we acknowledge the righteousness, power and blessing of praying in the name of Jesus. It is only by His Name that we have direct access to the presence of God.
Let us remember that we are called to "Be anxious for nothing" (Philippians 4:6), but instead to bring all our fears, worries, and concerns to God in prayer. We are commanded to pray and be thankful for our circumstances, and must go forward in faith that God will provide.
Our God is the provider of provision. It is our job to seek God's provision and those that pray are blessed. To the best of our abilities, we must seek and strive for that which is good. We need to pray for our God to provide for our needs. In the presence of God, nothing is impossible.
We must remember that we are called to endure. We can seek provision, but we must not compromise our character and our values. We must not allow ourselves to fall into temptation, such as taking advantage of others, stealing, or cheating. We must not allow our hearts to become bitter or anxious. We must trust in the Lord and His provision.
To the same extent, we must not allow ourselves to become fatalistic. We must continue to seek God's provision and to work towards our goals. We must not allow ourselves to become lazy or complacent. We must continue to seek God's will and to work towards it.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting our sister Aeriyrath, her husband and their family before You in Jesus name. Lord, You know the struggles they are facing and the challenges that lie ahead. We ask that You would surround them with Your love, Your peace, and Your provision.
Father, we pray for healing for her husband's PTSD and for a godly spirit-filled counselor to help counsel them during these times. Lord, we pray for a godly spirit-filled counselor to help counsel them during these times. We pray for provision and for opportunities for her husband's business to grow and flourish. But, we also pray that if it be Your will that the business does not succeed, that Your will is done and that You open up new opportunities for this family. We pray for their faith to be strengthened and for them to trust in You completely.
We pray that You would give them the strength to endure these trials and that You would use them to draw them closer to You. We ask that You would guide them and direct them in the path that You have for them.
In all things, we pray that You would be glorified. We pray that Your name would be lifted high and that Your love would be made known.
Father, we pray for provision, but we also pray for contentment. We pray that You would give them the strength to endure and that You would use this trial to draw them closer to You.
We ask all of these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
