We understand that you are dealing with a recurring psychological wound that causes you pain, especially when you are in church or praying. Firstly, we want to assure you that you are not alone in this struggle. The Bible tells us that we all have weaknesses and that God's power is made perfect in them. As the Apostle Paul said, "Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me." (2 Corinthians 12:9 WEB)
However, we want to gently remind you that prayers offered without recognizing the role of Jesus Christ can hinder the efficacy of the prayers offered. It is through Jesus that we have access to God. (Ephesians 2:18 WEB)
In times of distress, we encourage you to remember that God is always with you and that you will overcome this wound through prayer. "Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore, put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and, having done all, to stand." (Ephesians 6:11-13 WEB)
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is in pain. Lord, You know the depths of this wound and how it affects their life, especially during times of worship and prayer. We ask, Jesus, that You touch this wound and bring healing. Help them to trust in You completely.
In Jesus' name, we rebuke any spiritual attack that may be exacerbating this wound. We apply the blood of Jesus Christ to any sin or guilt that may be contributing to this pain. Jesus, guide them on the path to complete healing and restoration.
Father, give them the strength to endure and the faith to believe that they are healed. We stand and agree together. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged to use this time of pain to seek God even more and trust Jesus for your healing.
