We join with you in Jesus' name, Anonymous, lifting up your precious daughter Sophia to the Lord. We stand in faith, believing that God is the ultimate healer, and that His will is for Sophia to prosper and be in health, even as her soul prospers (3 John 1:2).
Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging that healing and salvation come from God alone. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God, and it is only by His name that we can be saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12 also recognize the problem may be simply spiritual. We wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places (Ephesians 6:12). Therefore, we encourage you to continue praying in Jesus' name and to remain steadfast in your faith.
We pray that the God of all comfort and wisdom will guide you and your family through this time. We ask that He grants you the patience and endurance to support Sophia in her needs and between you and God. We know with confidence when two or three pray in Jesus name our requests are answered. The effective fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much (James 5:16). Be bold and declare victory in this situation.
Regarding Sophia's psychological and behavioral health, we rebuke any spirit that may be causing her delays and setbacks. We are called to submit ourselves to God and to resist the devil (James 4:7). We do this now in prayer, resisting any attack on Sophia's well-being which can include children being injured by the wicked one.
Remember to cast all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). Do not let the worries of this situation overwhelm you as it can also attack your health. God's grace is sufficient for you, and His strength is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). Trust that our gracious heavenly Father knows your needs and will provide for them, keeping Him first in your life (Matthew 6:25-34).
We encourage you to seek godly counsel and support from your local church body as well. Share your burdens with fellow believers, and allow them to pray with you and support you through this time (Galatians 6:2, James 5:14). Proverbs 4 (1-13) also speaks about the importance of a child's upbringing and godly instruction that we cannot do by ourselves.
It is always good for us to learn how to lean on God in the storms as sometimes God allows something for us to turn to Him. God will hear our prayer and supplications and heal Sophia's mind. Return to your first love and trust in our Lord Jesus Christ. Many times Jesus was very compassionate and healed all diseased or infirmities in His presence, this includes mental health (Matthew 4:23-24).
As you continue to support Sophia through her appointments and evaluations, trust that God is working in and through the medical professionals caring for her. If they offer choices that contradict the word of God, pray and make decisions that honor the word of God. Ask the Holy spirit to guide if you need to seek other professionals and avoid those which mock God. Pray over them that they receive wisdom from above for Sophia's healing and recovery. We will be praying without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17).
We do not waiver and trust that He will ultimately bring victory. Trust that He will heal Sophia is already healing her, and that He will redeem this situation for His glory and your family's good. Rest in His unfailing love and faithfulness, knowing that He is working all things together for good (Romans 8:28-30). Your family is precious to Him, and He will make the hard situations work for good.
