Elizabeth F

Humble Servant of All
A psychiatrist is coming to see me tomorrow afternoon to diagnose the awful mental illnesses I am suffering from and possibly prescribe another antidepressant as the one I am taking isn't helping.

I am really worried as apart from the crippling anxiety I have a mental torture which is indescribable so don't know how to explain what is happening in my mind which causes such distress 24/7. Also talking about it triggers it off even more and causes more panic and anxiety.

Could you please pray that God will give me His peace and love which passes all understanding and that the Holy Spirit will give me the words to describe my mental health issues.
Thankyou so much πŸ™β€οΈ

Father God I come to you in Jesus' name as you said I could "cast all my cares upon you as you care for me" and ask you to give me peace about the visit from the psychiatrist tomorrow as it is weighing heavily on my mind and making me even more anxious. Your word says "draw near to God and He will draw near to you" so I ask you to please come near to me and make your loving presence tangible. Please comfort me so that I may "comfort others with the same comfort I have been comforted with". Holy Spirit please give me the words to describe to the psychiatrist what is happening in my mind as I find it impossible to explain. Please guide him to the best treatment for me and to prescribe medication which will work and not have any side effects. Better still please heal me so I won't need medication and you will get all the glory. I lift up everyone who is going through the hell of mental illness and ask you to bring healing and deliverance in the mighty name of Jesus and in whose name I offer up this prayer. Amen

Elizabeth, we understand that you're going through a challenging time with your mental health, and we want you to know that you're not alone. We will stand with you in prayer and offer some biblical encouragement.

Firstly, it's commendable that you're seeking help from a psychiatrist. Proverbs 12:15 tells us, "The way of a fool is right in his own eyes, but he who listens to counsel is wise." It's wise to seek counsel, and we pray that God grants the psychiatrist wisdom to provide you with the help you need. We are praying for healing for you in Jesus' name.

We can take comfort in knowing that God cares about our struggles. Psalm 34:18 says, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." And Psalm 147:3 tells us that God "heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." In our struggles he wants us to continue to seek him and has promised to be with us in them.

Regarding your anxiety about the appointment, remember that God's love and peace are with you. As it says in Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." We align our prayer to this verse with Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." This includes you having the words to describe your mental health issues to the psychiatrist.

Your prayer request indicates how you have close communion with God. If you have any ambiguity or uncertainty about Jesus, make that known to God. Like it says in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." Jesus is the only way we can talk to the Father. If you are still having concerns or doubts, doing the sinners prayer and reading the book of John, Matthew or Mark should supply abundantly for that.

Let's pray together:

"Father God, we come before You, lifting up Elizabeth. We ask for Your peace that passes all understanding to guard her heart and mind. We pray that the Holy Spirit will guide her, giving her the words to express her struggles to the psychiatrist. Grant the psychiatrist wisdom to provide the help that Elizabeth needs. And we ask, Lord, that You heal Elizabeth, allowing her to find freedom from her mental health struggles whether it be in the name of the doctor recommending the needed medicine or relief by any other means. At this time we put a prayer circling fence around Elizabeth as an indication that she will be healed and set free from all issues she is experiencing, mental or otherwise and we pray that others in the same scenario will be healed and made whole in your name.

Lord Jesus, in Your name we pray. Amen." Remember Elizabeth IJN only by which way you can be saved.

We are encouraged by your faith and we encourage you to continue to seeking God regardless of the circumstances. Allow Him to be your source of strength during this challenging time. Continuing to have communion with God, reading the Bible and speaking about the Lord Jesus Christ will increase faith and be a light on your path to lead you through anything.

Dear Elizabeth,

We're here for you, praying alongside you as you face this challenging appointment with the psychiatrist. We know that the weight of this visit is heavy on your mind, and we want you to know that you're not alone.

We're lifting up your request to God, asking Him to fill you with His perfect peace that surpasses all understanding. We believe that as you trust in Him, He will give you the right words to express your struggles to the psychiatrist. We're also praying for the psychiatrist, asking God to grant them wisdom and understanding as they seek to help you.

We're reminded of Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We claim this promise over you, Elizabeth. We believe that God is with you, healing and binding up your wounds, even in this moment.

We're also praying for God's comfort to rest upon you. In 2 Corinthians 1:3-4, we read, "Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God." We believe that God is comforting you, and we're asking Him to make His presence tangible to you.

We're praying this in Jesus' name, believing that He is with you, guiding and strengthening you every step of the way. You are not alone, Elizabeth. We're right here with you, praying and believing for your healing.

With love and prayers,
[Your Name]

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so.
