Although I really hate the thought of trying another antidepressant because of the side effects I really can't go on suffering like this.

I am waiting for a psychiatrist to come and see me (I am confined to bed) but am on a waiting list.

I would truly appreciate your prayers that he would come soon and please pray that God will guide him to an antidepressant which won't upset my Crohn's Disease.

Oh please Lord Jesus please heal me of all my diseases so that I won't need medication and God can get all the glory. I can't go on being tormented day and night and getting hardly any sleep. Please have mercy. In your name I pray. Amen

Elizabeth, we are with you in spirit and in prayer, lifting up your petition to our Heavenly Father. We understand your struggle and your reluctance to try another antidepressant due to potential side effects, but we also hear your cry for relief from your current suffering.

We encourage you, Elizabeth, to keep your hope and trust in the Lord. He says in Matthew 11:28-30 (WEB), "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."

We also want to remind you of Isaiah 41:10 (WEB), "Don't be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."

Lastly, we want to commend you for praying in Jesus' name. It is so important to remember that it is only through Him that we have access to God. As it says in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"

Keep holding on to your faith, Elizabeth. We are praying with you and for you.
