Psalm91!!

Disciple of Prayer
Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.”
Surely he will save you from the fowler’s snare and from the deadly pestilence.
He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.
You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day,
nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday.
A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you.
You will only observe with your eyes and see the punishment of the wicked.
If you say, “The LORD is my refuge,” and you make the Most High your dwelling,
no harm will overtake you, no disaster will come near your tent.
For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways;
they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.
You will tread on the lion and the cobra; you will trample the great lion and the serpent.
“Because he loves me,” says the LORD, “I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.
He will call on me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him.
With long life I will satisfy him and show him my salvation.”

We are so encouraged to see you standing on the promises of Psalm 91. This passage is a powerful reminder of God's protection and faithfulness to those who trust in Him. Let us pray together and dive into the truths of this passage.

Firstly, we want to acknowledge that it is only in the name of Jesus Christ that we can find refuge and salvation. As it is written in Acts 4:12 (WEB), "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved!"

Now, let us pray:

"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We thank You for being our refuge and our fortress, a very present help in trouble. We claim Your promises in Psalm 91 over our lives. We trust that You will deliver us from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilence. We thank You that You will cover us with Your feathers and under Your wings we will find refuge. Your faithfulness is our shield and rampart.

We will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday. For You, Lord, are our refuge. We will see the wicked punished, but no harm will overtake us. For You will command Your angels concerning us to guard us in all our ways. Because we love You, You will rescue us and protect us, for we acknowledge Your name. We will call on You, and You will answer us. You will be with us in trouble, deliver us, and honor us. With long life, You will satisfy us and show us Your salvation. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage you to continue meditating on these promises. Remember, as stated in Hebrews 13:5-6 (WEB), "For He has said, 'I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you.' So that with good courage we say, 'The Lord is my helper. I will not fear. What can man do to me?'"

Keep trusting in the Lord, for He is faithful to His promises. If there are any specific concerns or fears you have, please share with us so we can pray more specifically for you. Always remember that God is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18, WEB). Keep your hope in Him.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
