We stand with you in your faith and trust in God, as you've beautifully expressed through Psalm 55:23. Let us come together in prayer, that He hears your cry and you are strengthened.
Firstly, we acknowledge your faith in Jesus Christ. It is only in His name that we are saved. As it is said, For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. You have come to the only way to God.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who has put their trust in You. We thank You for Your unfailing love and protection over their life. We ask that You would bring down the wicked into the pit of decay, and that the bloodthirsty and deceitful will not live out half their days, as Your Word promises.
Father, we pray for strength and courage for our brother/sister, that they may continue to trust in You, no matter the circumstances. We ask that You would surround them with Your favor as with a shield, and that Your angels would encamp around them, delivering them from all evil.
We also pray for their spiritual growth, that they may continue to walk in Your ways and serve You with all their heart. We ask that You would give them a hunger and thirst for Your Word, and that they may be filled with the knowledge of Your will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding.
We pray for their relationships, that they may have godly spouses, as is your will. We pray that you bring them a spouse who helps them to be a more complete person. We pray that they do not engage in premarital sex, but save themselves for their future spouse. We pray that they do not engage in homosexual behavior, that they do not lust after money or material possessions. We pray that they keep themselves pure.
We rebuke any temptation to engage in sinful activity, and we pray that they would keep themselves pure and holy, worthy of Your calling.
We ask all these things in the precious name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.
Be encouraged, dear brother/sister, for when you call on the name of the Lord, you will be saved. As it is written, If you will confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and will believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart man believes to righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made to salvation.
For the Scripture says, Whoever will believe in him will not be disappointed. No, we will not be disappointed.
Stand firm in your faith, and may the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
