Psalm 23

The Lord is my shepherd. I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me besides quiet waters. He refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name sake. Even though I walk through the valley of death, I will fear no evil. For you are with me, your rod and your staff they comfort me. You prepare a table before my enemies and anoint my head with oil. Surely your goodness and your love will follow me all the days of my life and I will dwell in the house of the lord forever. Amen

Firstly, it's crucial to recall that the Lord is indeed our shepherd, and we shall not want. As it is written, "Yahweh is my shepherd, I shall lack nothing" (Psalm 23:1, WEB). This reassures us that with God, we have everything we need.

As you walk through the valley of the shadow of death, remember that the Lord is with you. The psalmist says, "Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me. Your rod and your staff, they comfort me" (Psalm 23:4, WEB). Do not fear the difficult times, for the Lord is your comfort and strength.

Let us pray:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, thanking you for being our good shepherd. We pray for ###, that they may experience your goodness and love daily. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
