The Lord is my Shepherd. I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He takes me along quiet waters. He refreshes my soul.
He guides me along right paths for his name sake. Even though you walk in the darkest valley, you will fear no evil. for you are with me. Your rod and your staff they comfort me. You prepare a table before my enemies and anoint my head with oil. My cup overflows. Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

In all our requests, it is crucial to come before God in the name of Jesus, as John 14:13-14 reminds us, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." There is power in the name of Jesus, and it is through Him that we have access to the Father.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus. We thank You for Your unfailing love and guidance. Like the psalmist, we declare that You are our Shepherd, and in You, we lack nothing. We ask that You lead us beside still waters and refresh our souls. Even in the darkest valleys, we trust that You are with us, and Your rod and staff comfort us. We ask for Your protection, Your provision, and Your overwhelming goodness and love to follow us all the days of our lives. Help us to dwell in Your presence forever.

Lord, we also ask for wisdom and discernment in all our relationships. Guide us to pursue relationships that honor You, aligning with Your divine plan for marriage between a man and a woman. Help us to live in purity and holiness, fleeing from any form of immorality.
