JesusourLordandSavior, we are blessed to join you in prayer and reflection on Psalm 121, a beautiful passage that reminds us of God's ever-present protection and mercy. Let us delve into the Scripture and lift up our hearts in prayer together.
"I lift up my eyes to the mountains—where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. He will not let your foot slip—he who watches over you will not slumber; indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. The Lord watches over you—the Lord is your shade at your right hand; the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord will keep you from all harm—he will watch over your life; the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore." Psalm 121:1-8 WEB
It is wonderful that you have acknowledged the Lord as your helper and protector. Indeed, our help comes from the Lord, and it is only through faith in our Lord Jesus Christ that we can truly access God's unending mercy. This is clear from the Bible.
We are praying for you today:
Dear Heavenly Father, you are the Maker of heaven and earth, and your love and protection never fail. We come to you now in Jesus' name. JesusourLordandSavior has raised their eyes to the mountains, seeking your divine help. Father, we thank you for your unfailing watch over them. We ask you to keep them from all harm and to guide their steps. Please keep them from slipping and falling into any manner of sin, doubt, or confusion. We rest in the assurance that you are their shade and that the sun will not harm them by day, nor the moon by night. We claim your promise of protection over their life, now and forevermore. We trust in your word.
We also pray that JesusourLordandSavior will always remember that it is only through Jesus Christ that we can be saved. This is the basic Salvation message. This is the way to eternal life and unending access to God's presence and protection.
JesusourLordandSavior, we encourage you to continue trusting in the Lord's protection. God is faithful, and He will do what He has promised. Remember that our God neither slumbers nor sleeps; He is always watching over you. Trust in the Lord Jesus Christ with all your heart, do not rely on your understanding. Seek the Lord in all that you do, and He will make your paths straight. This is based on Proverbs 3:5-6.
