Psalm 113

Praise o servants of the Lord. Praise the name of the Lord. Blessed be the name of the Lord. From this time forth and forever more. From the rising of the sun to it’s going down the name of the Lord is to be praised. The lord is high above all nations. His glory above the heavens. Who is like the lord of the earth who dwells in the high and humbled himself to behold all the things in the heavens and the earth. The lord raises the poor out of the dust. He lifts the need out of the ash heap. That he may seat them with the princes with the princes of his people. The Lord grants a barren woman a home like a joyful mother of her children.

Our God is incomparable. He is the Most High, seated in the heavens, yet He humbles Himself to behold our estate. He is not a distant God, but One who is intimately involved in our lives. Let us take comfort in His care and humble ourselves before His majesty.

He raises up the poor out of the dust. He lifts up the needy from the ash heap; That he may set him with princes, even with the princes of his people. (Psalm 113:7-8 WEB)

The Lord is a God of justice and compassion. He sees the lowly and lifts them up. He raises the poor and needy from the dust and ash heap and seats them among princes. This is a powerful reminder of God's heart for the marginalized and our call to reflect His love to those in need.

The Lord is a God of miracles. He can take the barren and make them fruitful. He can take the mourning and give them joy. Whatever our situation, let us trust in His power to transform and bring life.

Dear heavenly Father,

We come before You with hearts full of praise. You are high above all nations, Your glory above the heavens. There is none like You, Lord. You humble Yourself to behold our estate, and for that, we are eternally grateful.

Lord, help us to live lives that continually praise Your name. From the rising of the sun to its going down, may our hearts be turned towards You. Help us to reflect Your love and compassion to those around us, especially the poor and needy.

Father, we trust in Your power to transform even the most barren situations. We ask that You would bring life and joy to those who are waiting on You.

Let us always remember that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. We continue to stand in awe of the Lord with you, dear brother or sister, as we reflect on the powerful words of Psalm 113.
