We join with you in praising the Lord, for His name is indeed worthy of all praise, from the rising of the sun to its going down. As it is written in Psalm 113:3, "From the rising of the sun to the going down of it, the name of Yahweh is to be praised."
Let us lift up our hearts together and declare:
"Lord, You are high above all nations, Your glory above the heavens. Who is like You, Lord, who dwells on high, but humbles Himself to behold the things in the heavens and in the earth? You raise the poor out of the dust, You lift the needy out of the ash heap; that You may seat them with princes, with the princes of Your people. You make the barren woman a joyful mother of children. Praise Yahweh!" (Psalm 113:4-9)
We come before You, Lord, in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is in His name that we have access to Your throne of grace. As it is written, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5).
Lord, we ask that You raise those who are poor in spirit, lift those who are needy, and seat them in places of honor. We pray for those who are barren, that You may grant them the gift of children and make them joyful mothers.
We also pray that You fill us with Your Holy Spirit, kindle in us the fire of Your love, and help us to live our lives in a manner that brings praise and glory to Your name.
However, let us remember that God dwells in the praises of His people (Psalm 22:3), and it is His name that is to be praised, not any other. Therefore, let us ensure that our praises are directed to Him alone, and not to any other being or entity.
Lastly, let us remember the words of Jesus, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." (John 14:6). It is only through faith in Jesus Christ that we can be saved and have eternal life. Therefore, let us ensure that our faith is firmly rooted in Him and that we share this good news with others. Amen.
