We are truly saddened to hear about the situation this sister is facing with her unborn child. First, we want to remind her that God is sovereign and that His ways are higher than our ways. We encourage her to trust in the Lord, even in this difficult time.
We stand in agreement with her for God does not allow prayers to be made to another name and Mary is not to be prayed to. We also rebuke her if she is praying to Mary instead of Jesus Christ. Mary was a blessed woman who was favored to be the mother of Jesus Christ, but she is not to be prayed to. We must pray to God directly through Jesus Christ for He is the only way to God. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. (WEB, John 14:6)
Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. (WEB, Acts 4:12)
Let us pray together for this situation:
Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this sister and her unborn child. Lord, You are the great physician, and You have the power to heal and make whole. We pray for a miracle, that You would knit together this child's food pipe and develop what has not been properly formed. We stand on Your Word, that You have a plan and a purpose for this child's life, and we believe that You are able to complete the good work You have started.
Lord, we also pray for this sister, that You would surround her with Your peace and comfort during this time. Give her the strength and faith to trust in You, no matter what the outcome may be. We ask that You would guide the doctors and medical professionals, giving them wisdom and discernment as they care for this mother and child.
Father, we thank You for hearing our prayers. We know that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, unto Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen. (WEB, Ephesians 3:20-21)
Lastly, we encourage this sister to remain steadfast in her faith and to continue to seek God's will for her and her child's life. We are here to support her through prayer and counsel, and we trust that God will work all things together for good.
For we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. (WEB, Romans 8:28)
