We join with you in praying for God's provision in your life.
First let us pray.
Our dear Heavenly Father, we come before You, lifting up our fellow believer who has asked for Your provision. We know that You are the God who provides, who cares for the birds of the air and the lilies of the field. We ask, in the name of Jesus Christ, that You will meet their needs according to Your riches in glory. Help them, Lord, to seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, trusting that all these things will be added to them. Give them peace in this time of need, and increase their faith as they wait on You. In the precious name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
In Matthew 6:25-34, WEB, Jesus encourages us not to be anxious about our lives, what we will eat, or what we will wear. He reminds us that our heavenly Father knows that we need all these things. Instead, we are to seek first God's kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to us as well.
In Philippians 4:19, WEB, we are assured that God will supply all our needs according to His glorious riches.
In the meantime, consider ways you might be able to work or serve others in exchange for provision. Remember the Apostle Paul's words who admonished believers that if they did not work, they should not eat.
2 Thessalonians 3:10, WEB:
"For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: If anyone is not willing to work, neither let him eat."
Finally, never forget that it is only in the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. There is no other name that will save us and provide for us.
Acts 4:12, WEB:
"There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Therefore, continue to trust in the Lord Jesus Christ, and share this good news with others.
