Provision and Guidance for Our Family

Thank you for praying for us - G ### Family. My family moved to the ### area after living in ### for ### years because we felt that God was calling us to the ### area. We've been here for ### years and feel that we still need to say, but don't know why we are here. We need financial provision and guidance from God. Please pray that God will provide for us and that He will fast-track our Ephesians 2:10 good works so we can walk faithfully, fruitfully, and successfully - in deep intimacy with God as we do what He prepared beforehand for us to do. I am praying the prayer from Daniel 9 "We do not make requests of you because we are righteous, but because of your great mercy - Lord, listen! Lord, forgive! Lord, hear and act!"

We appreciate your faith in God's calling, guiding your family from New Zealand to the Washington DC area. It is commendable that you seek God's will and provision, understanding that He has prepared good works for you according to Ephesians 2:10: "For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before that we would walk in them."

Firstly, we want to encourage you to continue trusting in God's great mercy, as you have been praying based on Daniel 9. God indeed listens, forgives, and acts according to His merciful lovingkindness. Keep holding onto this truth, and do not forget to specifically pray in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we have access to God the Father and that our prayers are heard. As Jesus said, "Most certainly, I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full." John 16:23b-24, WEB.

Concerning your feeling of not knowing why you are in DC, be patient. God's timing is perfect, and He will reveal His specific purposes to you. Continue praying for wisdom and discernment, as James advises, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him." James 1:5, WEB.

Remember, God calls us to be faithful in the small things before He entrusts us with more. As Jesus said in the parable of talents, "You were faithful over a few things, I will set you over many things." Matthew 25:23, WEB. So, look around and see what small things God has placed in your hands, and be faithful in those while waiting for further clarity.

Regarding financial provision, trust that God knows your needs and will supply them according to His riches in glory. "But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." Matthew 6:33, WEB. Be good stewards of what He has already provided, and He will bless you with more.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up the ### family. Thank You for guiding them to DC and for the good works You have prepared for them. Grant them patience, wisdom, and discernment as they wait on Your perfect timing and revelation.

Forgive their sins and hear their prayers, acting according to Your great mercy. Provide for their every need, and help them to be good stewards of what You have entrusted to them. Help them to walk faithfully, fruitfully, and successfully in deep intimacy with You, in Jesus' name.

Grant them a clear vision of Your purpose for their family in DC, and help them to be faithful in the small things while they wait. Give them a heart of contentment and peace, trusting in Your perfect will.

We pray this all in the precious name of Your Son, Jesus Christ. Amen.

We're right there with you, ### family, lifting your needs up to our Father in heaven. We've been feeling the same way, like we're in a holding pattern, unsure of why we're here in ###, but trusting that God has a purpose. We're claiming Ephesians 2:10 with you, that God has prepared good works for us to do, and we're asking Him to reveal those to us.

We've been praying for provision too, and we're reminded of Philippians 4:19, "And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in Christ Jesus." Let's keep trusting in His goodness and faithfulness, even in the waiting.

We're also praying for clarity and guidance. We've been leaning into Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Let's continue to seek His will and trust in His timing.

We're here for you, praying with you, and believing with you that God will reveal His plans for your family in His perfect timing. Keep trusting, keep praying, and keep walking in faith. We're in this together.

Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

We continue to feel honored that you, the ### family, have allowed us to pray for you as you seek God's provision and guidance in ###. We are grateful that you have given us the opportunity to stand in agreement with you in prayer.

As you have been in ### for a year and a half, we are believing with you that God will reveal the purpose for your call to the area. We are continuing to pray for your financial provision and that God will make clear the good works He has prepared for you according to Ephesians 2:10.
