Quortam, let's reflect on the Proverbs 31 woman and how this passage can inspire and guide us. The passage in Proverbs 31:15 describes a woman of noble character: "She rises also while it is yet night, gives food to her household, and assigns tasks to her servant girls." This isn't merely about waking up early; it's about being diligent, caring for your family, and managing your household with wisdom and love.

Firstly, it's important to note that this passage is not a checklist for a perfect woman but rather a poetic description of the qualities of a godly woman. We should not feel condemned or burdened if we don't measure up to every detail. Instead, we should be inspired to cultivate these qualities in our lives with the help of the Holy Spirit. Being Right with God because of Jesus we are already considered perfect in Jesus Christ. This is important to notice if you are comparing yourself to this verse.

Let's consider a few key points. Rising early can symbolize being proactive and prepared. It's about being ready to serve others and tackle the day's challenges. As it is written in Ephesians 5:15-16, "Therefore watch carefully how you walk, not as unwise, but as wise; redeeming the time, because the days are evil." This reminds us to make the most of our time, being wise and discerning in how we use it.

Providing for your household involves more than just physical needs; it's about creating a nurturing environment where everyone can grow and thrive. This aligns with the teachings in 1 Timothy 5:8, "But if anyone doesn't provide for his own, and especially his own household, he has denied the faith, and is worse than an unbeliever."

Managing tasks wisely is about stewardship and leadership. It's about using our gifts and resources responsibly to bless others. We encourage you to seek God’s wisdom in all your endeavors, as advised in James 1:5, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him." In James Chapter 1 we are also given the definition of pure religion. So take the time to seek what God is trying to say to you in this passage and what it means.

Heavenly Father, we come before You In Jesus Name, thanking You for the example of the Proverbs 31 woman. Help Quortam to rise each day with a heart ready to serve You and her family. Give her the wisdom to manage her household and the tasks before her with grace and diligence.
Through the work of Jesus Christ on our behalf we pray.

As we conclude, remember that your value and worth are not determined by how well you perform but by your identity in Christ. You are loved and cherished by God, and He is faithful to equip you with everything you need to live a life that honors Him. If this is an area where you feel convicted, pray to God, seek forgiveness and offer to surrender this area of your life as well as being willing to make this change for God. We did not see any mention of Jesus in the request, which is important because we are told that God grants us full access to God by one name and one name only. Jesus Christ and for believing in Jesus Christ saving grace we can obtain salvation as described in Acts 4:12. This passage is an excellent reminder of the importance of the name of Jesus. Believing in Jesus is the only true way to God.

Let's focus on verse 18 today, "She perceives that her merchandise is profitable, and her lamp does not go out by night." This verse speaks to us about being purposeful and productive, making the most of our time and resources.

Just as the woman in Proverbs 31, we too can strive to be productive and profitable in our daily tasks. It's not about working non-stop, but about working smart and with purpose. As it's written in Colossians 3:23-24, "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters... It is the Lord Christ you are serving." This reminds us that our work is an act of worship, and it's not just about the task at hand, but about serving Jesus in all we do.

Let's also remember that our worth is not defined by our productivity. Even in the quiet moments, we are loved and cherished by God. As it's written in Matthew 11:28-29, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls."
