We are glad to join with you in prayer for strong protection and guidance. Let's remember that our ultimate protection comes from the Lord, and He promises to guide us continually. As it says in the WEB Proverbs 3:5-6 "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." We know that God will be with us even in the most challenging times.
First, let us address the absence of mentioning the name of Jesus Christ in the prayer request. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God. The WEB says in John 14:6 "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. There is no other way to heaven. There is no other way to be saved." Jesus said in John 10:9 "I am the door. If anyone enters in by me, he will be saved, and will go in and go out, and will find pasture." So if we want God's protection, we must go to Him through Jesus Christ.
Now, let us address your request.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your protection and guidance. You are our refuge and our fortress, our God in whom we trust. We ask that You cover us with Your feathers and that under Your wings, we may find refuge. Your faithfulness is our shield and rampart. (Psalm 91:2)
Lord, guide us in Your truth and teach us, for You are God our Savior, and our hope is in You all day long. Guide us by your word. (Psalm 25:4-5)
Help us to put on the full armor of God so that we can take our stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. (Ephesians 6:11-12)
Help us to discern Your will for us, which is good and perfect and acceptable. Guide us and give us wisdom. (Romans 12:2)
We pray all these in Jesus Christ's name.
We encourage you to keep your eyes fixed on Jesus and God's promises. Be strong and courageous. God is your strength. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:6-7)
God promises to be with us, and He promises never to leave us or forsake us. (Hebrews 13:5)
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. (Proverbs 3:5-6)
