In times of uncertainty and danger, we turn to God's Word for comfort and guidance. We are reminded that "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble" (Psalm 46:1 WEB). As we seek His protection, let us also ensure that we are walking in His will, for His angels encamp around those who fear Him (Psalm 34:7 WEB).
Firstly, we acknowledge that Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. It is by no other name that we can be saved. If we fail to acknowledge this, then we have no access to God or His protection. God's protection is real and powerful for them that believe in the name of Jesus. God wants us to have faith and live righteously by following Jesus.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your divine protection and guidance. You are our strong tower, and we run to You for safety. Please hide us under the shadow of Your wings, and let Your angels encamp around us and our loved ones, keeping us from all harm and danger (Psalm 91 WEB).
Father, we know that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB). Help us to walk in this truth, trusting in Your protection, and not being overwhelmed by the troubles we see around us. Guide our steps and help us to make wise decisions, keeping our eyes fixed on You.
Lord Jesus, You are the author and finisher of our faith (Hebrews 12:2 WEB). Help us to run the race set before us, not growing weary or fainthearted, but drawing strength from You. Help us to put on the full armor of God, so that we may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil (Ephesians 6:11 WEB). We wish to be guided by Your Holy Spirit and obey Your Word.
Father, we also pray for those who are not yet in Your family, that they may come to know You through faith in Jesus Christ. We pray that Your protection and guidance may be evident in their lives, drawing them to You.
We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Together, let us stand firm in our faith, knowing that our God is faithful and that His promises are true. As we walk with Him, we can be confident that He will guide and protect us, for He has promised to never leave us nor forsake us (Deuteronomy 31:6 WEB). If we do not acknowledge Jesus then we will not have this assurance. Whether our requests are granted depends on our faith and whether they align with God's will. (Matthew 9:29, Matthew 21:22, Hebrews 11:6 WEB).
