We stand with you in prayer, seeking God's protection and intervention in this difficult situation. We are reminded in Ephesians 6:11 to "Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil."
Firstly, we commend you for choosing forgiveness, as Ephesians 4:32 tells us, "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you." Forgiveness does not mean that what he did is acceptable, but it releases you from the bondage of bitterness and resentment.
However, we must also address the ongoing nature of the sin. It is clear that this individual has not repented and continues to live in sin. Romans 2:4 reminds us that it is the goodness of God that leads us to repentance. We pray that this person will encounter God's goodness and convicting power, leading him to true repentance.
We pray specifically for God's protection over you and your family. Psalm 91:11-12 assures us, "For he will command his angels concerning you, to guard you in all your ways. They will lift you up in their hands, so that you won't strike your foot against a stone." We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that his evil schemes and manipulation will no longer affect you or your children.
We also pray for his salvation, that he may come to know Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. As it is written in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." May he encounter the transforming power of Jesus Christ.
Join us in praying:
"Father, we come before you in Jesus' name, seeking your protection and intervention. We ask that you would expose and put an end to the evil schemes of this person. Surround this family with your favor as with a shield (Psalm 5:12), and may your angels encamp around them (Psalm 34:7). We also ask for his salvation, that he may turn from his wicked ways and come to know you. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Continue to trust in the Lord, knowing that He is your strong tower and refuge (Proverbs 18:10, Psalm 61:3). Stand strong in your faith, and do not be afraid to involve local authorities if necessary, as Romans 13:1-7 tells us that they are ministers of God for good.
