We join you in praying for your daughter and your family, standing firm on the power of Jesus' name. We are grateful that you have come to us, mentioning the name of Jesus Christ as it is only by His name that we have access to God. For there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. Let us address the issues raised and delve into the Word of God for guidance.
Firstly, we acknowledge your concern for your daughter's relationship and the spiritual warfare you're engaged in. As it is written in the WEB, For though we walk in the flesh, we don't wage war according to the flesh; for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds. (2 Corinthians 10:3-4) We are calling out the spirits you've mentioned, and we stand in agreement with you, commanding them to flee from your daughter and your family forever and never return, in Jesus' name.
Concerning your daughter's relationship, we encourage her to be equally yoked with a believer in Christ. Let us invest in God's word to guide this relationship. For what fellowship has righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness? (2 Corinthians 6:14) It is crucial to assess this relationship in light of God's Word. If this young man is not exhibiting the fruit of the Spirit, which is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23), but rather the works of the flesh, it is a clear indication that they are not compatible.
We pray that God grants your daughter the wisdom and discernment to recognize the red flags in this relationship. God has promised to give wisdom to those who ask Him. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him. (James 1:5)
We also pray that God prepares a godly spouse for your daughter, someone who exhibits the qualities mentioned in (1 Corinthians 13:4-7), who is a great provider (1 Timothy 5:8), respectable, genuine, kind, and someone who cherishes her. A man who will empower her to be the best she can be (Ephesians 5:25-29), and proud of her achievements and goals. Someone who respects and loves her family, his family, and puts Jesus first in their life. (Matthew 6:33)
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You, lifting up our sister in Christ and her family. We plead the blood of Jesus over them and claim Your protection upon their lives. We rebuke and command every spirit not of You to flee from them in Jesus' name. Lord, grant Your daughter the wisdom to see the truth about this relationship and the strength to end it if it does not honor You. Prepare a godly spouse for her, someone who will love, respect, and cherish her as You do. We claim everlasting peace, love, joy, and happiness in her life. We declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper, in Jesus' name. Amen.
Lastly, we encourage you and your daughter to stay strong in the Lord. Be alert and sober, clothed in the armor of God, abide by His word, and trust in Him always. (Ephesians 6:10-18)
